Organized by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), AEBF serves as a bridge between government officials, private sector leaders, and international organizations. The forum is designed to foster strategic partnerships, showcase cutting-edge energy technologies, and drive the implementation of the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC). Through high-level panels and networking opportunities, AEBF accelerates the region’s transition toward a sustainable and secure energy future.

The 26th ASEAN Energy Business Forum

The 26th ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF-26) will be hosted by Department of Energy (DOE) Philippines and organised by ACE. This year, ASEAN"s annual conference and exhibition will be held in four (4) days in Manila and in conjunction with the 44th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM-44) that promotes and discusses the development of ASEAN energy sector through investment, innovation and regional cooperation.

ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF) is a flagship annual conference and exhibition on energy that brings high level regional and international policymakers and key business players. It has been organised by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) in conjunction with the annual ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM).

Through engagement with key stakeholders from governments, professionals, financial institutions, to academia, AEBF aims to enhance regional cooperation through Public-Private Sector Engagement (PPE) to realise the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) 2026-2030 which reflecting the region"s collective commitment to address evolving energy challenges and opportunities through a unified and forward-looking approach.

As an international conference and exhibition that promotes the development of ASEAN energy sector, AEBF has become a high-level platform for information exchange and cooperation opportunities for the stakeholders of ASEAN energy sector. Each year, AEBF sees a full conference room attended by policymakers, utility executives, technology innovators, financiers, and researchers from the region and beyond.

ACE welcomes all friends of ASEAN in the energy sector to be part of this unique opportunity: the only business forum attended by Ministries of Energy of ASEAN Member States.

AEBF is a flagship annual conference and exhibition on energy organised by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), held in conjunction with the ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM). It brings together high-level regional and international policymakers, business players, financiers, and researchers.

The 23rd ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF-23), convened alongside the 41st ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM), marked a significant milestone in advancing ASEAN"s regional energy cooperation. Hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) of Indonesia and organised by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) under Indonesia"s ASEAN Chairmanship 2023, the Forum took place on 24–26 August 2023 in Bali, Indonesia. AEBF-23 served as a strategic platform facilitating knowledge exchange, strengthening collaboration, and expanding networks among policymakers, industry leaders, private sector executives, researchers, and energy stakeholders across Southeast Asia and beyond.

Anchored under the theme "Accelerating Energy Connectivity to Achieve Sustainable Growth of ASEAN," the Forum aligned with the broader ASEAN Chairmanship theme "ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth" and Indonesia"s energy priority "Sustainable Energy Security through Interconnectivity." The 24th ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF-24), convened in conjunction with the 42nd ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM-42), marked another important milestone in strengthening ASEAN"s regional energy cooperation. Hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM), Lao PDR, and organised by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), AEBF-24 took place from 25 to 27 September 2024 at the National Convention Centre in Vientiane Capital. As one of ASEAN"s premier energy platforms, the Forum facilitated knowledge exchange, promoted collaboration, and expanded networks among policymakers, business leaders, industry experts, researchers, and regional and international stakeholders engaged in Southeast Asia"s energy transition.

Held under the theme "ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience," AEBF-24 reflected ASEAN"s collective efforts to strengthen cross-border cooperation, advance sustainable energy development, and address emerging challenges in an evolving energy landscape. The 25th ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF-25), held alongside the 43rd ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM-43), marked a major milestone in advancing ASEAN"s regional energy cooperation. Hosted by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) Malaysia and organised by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), the Forum brought together policymakers, industry leaders, financiers, researchers, and regional partners to accelerate dialogue and collaboration across Southeast Asia"s energy landscape.

Anchored under the theme "Powering ASEAN: Bridging Boundaries, Building Prosperity", AEBF-25 aligned closely with Malaysia"s ASEAN Chairmanship theme for 2025, "Inclusivity and Sustainability". AEBF-25 placed a strong emphasis on the ASEAN Power Grid (APG) as the region"s strategic pathway toward achieving a future of affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy.
