Summary
The 25th ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF-25), held concurrently with the 43rd ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting, represented a significant achievement in ASEAN’s regional energy cooperation. Hosted by PETRA Malaysia and organised by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), the Forum gathered key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, financiers, and researchers, to propel the region’s energy transition under the theme “Powering ASEAN: Bridging Boundaries, Building Prosperity.” With the ASEAN Power Grid (APG) as the principal area of focus, AEBF-25 enhanced high-level dialogue, featured pioneering technologies, and fostered strategic partnerships to support ASEAN’s objective of achieving affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy security.
