Established 20 years ago, the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) has created and will in the future continue to play the role of becoming a platform for information-sharing, expertise-exchange, and joined-up actions. Throughout the years, ACE has developed from modest energy information to an integration accelerator for energy strategies in the region.
This publication highlights some of ACE’s notable international collaborations and what those programmes mean for energy policy developments both for the regional and country levels. Together with leaders from AMS, ASEAN Secretariat, as well as international partners, some of which are featured in this book, ACE wishes to scan the horizon to better position the centre within the global and regional energy landscapes.
