The ASEAN Energy Statistical Yearbook (AESY) 2026 presents a comprehensive overview of the ASEAN energy sector, providing harmonised and reliable statistics on energy supply, energy consumption, electricity, renewable energy, fossil fuels, energy efficiency, energy investment, gender, and other energy-related socio-economic indicators. This edition covers historical data from 2005 to 2024 that serve as an essential evidence base for monitoring regional energy trends, assessing progress towards APAEC targets, and supporting informed policy formulation and decision-making across ASEAN Member States (AMS).
AESY 2026 complements the ASEAN Energy Statistical Leaflet (AESL) 2026 by providing detailed statistical tables that serve as the region's standard reference for ASEAN energy data. The publication also contributes to the continuous enhancement of the ASEAN Energy Database System (AEDS), ACE's central repository for regional energy statistics and information. Through AEDS, the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), in its role as the regional energy knowledge hub and think tank, compiles, harmonises, and disseminates official energy data to support evidence–based policymaking, regional cooperation, and knowledge sharing.
