The Challenge
The building sector accounts for 23% of total final energy consumption and energy-related CO₂ emissions in ASEAN. With energy demand projected to double by 2050, urgent action is required to bend the emissions curve through smarter building design and policy.
Our Mission
The PEEB ASEAN supports ASEAN Member States in strengthening policies and market conditions for green buildings. We bridge the gap between policy frameworks and actual investments, contributing directly to the APAEC target of reducing energy intensity by 40% by 2030.
