Asia Low Carbon Buildings Transition Programme: 2nd Consultation Workshop on ASEAN Energy Efficiency Database and Investment Platform
On 30 April 2025, the ASEAN Centre for Energy’s Asia Low Carbon Buildings Transition programme—backed by Germany’s IKI/BMWK—convened its 2nd Regional Consultation Workshop in Jakarta to shape a one-stop ASEAN Energy Efficiency Database and Investment Matchmaking Platform. The hybrid event gathered 139 participants (55 % male, 45 % female), advancing plans to connect building owners and project developers with financiers for accelerated energy-efficient retrofits across the region.
2nd Consultation Workshop on ASEAN Energy Efficiency Database and Investment Platform
As a follow up to the first consultation workshop held in November of 2024, the “2nd Consultation Workshop on ASEAN Energy Efficiency Database and Investment Platform” will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 30 April 2025. This workshop aims to collect stakeholder feedback on the proposed features and functionalities, discuss knowledge and cases on the EE project matchmaking mechanism, and introduce the pilot testing framework and discuss data requirements.
