Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has finished putting in the rotor for Unit 1 of the Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant Expansion. The rotor is a key part of the generator and weighs about 585 tonnes.
EVN said this part of the work is necessary before they move on to installing other equipment. Different teams were involved, including those in construction, technical monitoring, and electromechanical setup.
