According to the Global Climate Risk Index 2021, Thailand is one of the countries most affected by climate change globally, ranking 9th of 170 countries. In October this year, Thailand proposed a carbon neutrality by 2065-2070 roadmap at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Thailand became the first ASEAN country to formally propose and announce a national carbon neutrality roadmap.
