BANGKOK: Thailand needs to step up its efforts to combat climate change, as its pledges presented at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow were slammed as “critically insufficient” to keep global temperatures from rising beyond 1.5º Celsius, as outlined in the Paris Agreement.
