Cambodia’s rooftop solar installers are pushing for the industry to have more favourable energy tariffs, as well as exploring more accessible business models to offset the high initial investment in rapidly developing solar photovoltaic (PV) technology. The push comes after a global campaign was launched to promote the economic advantages of solar PV, with organisations such as the UK embassy, saying Cambodia is at a crossroads for the future of its energy infrastructure.
