Yangon—In eight months of the current fiscal year, natural gas-fired power generation exceeds 7,500 KW hours and the electricity generated by hydropower, 6,100 KW hours, according to the statement by the Central Statistical Organization. From October to May of 2019-2020 fiscal year, the hydropower hit 6,127.11 KW hours, natural gas, 7507.69 KW hours, thermal energy, 1652.44 KW hours, and diesel, 116.58 KW hours.
