KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia needs more net energy metering (NEM) quota to drive the solar agenda, said the Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA).
Its president Davis Chong said NEM, which includes the Net Offset Virtual Aggregation (NOVA) programme, was the most effective tool in driving the deployment of rooftop solar systems in the country.
