Brunei Methanol has delayed a planned restart of its 850,000 t/yr plant following issues at its upstream unit. The plant in Sungai Liang was due to restart this week. But continuing issues with its upstream unit, which is also undergoing maintenance, have delayed the process. Brunei Methanol has not set a date for the restart, but it is expected later this month.
