ASEAN International Conference On Energy And Environment (AICEE)
The 4th AICEE
The 4th AICEE was held in Vientiane, Lao PDR at 25th September 2024. In conjunction with the AEBF-24 and the 42nd AMEM, the 4th AICEE was hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Lao PDR.
In support of Lao PDR’s ASEAN Chairmanship, the 4th AICEE was themed “Charting ASEAN’s Energy Future for Regional Interconnectivity and Resilience”. The Conference received 234 abstracts across ASEAN and the globe. Among them, there were 66 abstracts presented and currently on the review process for publication.
The 3rd AICEE
The 3rd AICEE returned for its third series in 24th August 2023, Bali. Organised by ACE and hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) of the Republic of Indonesia, this is the first AICEE that was held physically.
Themed “Accelerating a Just, Secure and Resilient Energy Transition in ASEAN through Innovation and Interconnectivity,” the Conference coincided with the AEBF 2021 and the 41st AMEM.
The 2nd AICEE
The 2nd AICEE was held as a hybrid conference in 14-15 September 2022, hosted by ACE and the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) with the theme “Accelerating Clean Energy Transition to Enhance Energy Security and Environmental Sustainability in ASEAN”. It was also in conjunction with the 8th International Conference on Sustainable Future for Human Security (8th SustaiN) and back-to-back with the AEBF 2022.
The 1st AICEE
The AICEE was held for the first time by the ACE and the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) virtually on 15th September 2021 in conjunction with the ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF 2021). The theme was “ASEAN Energy Transition with Resiliency in the Post-Pandemic Climate Change Era”.
