The AICEE is a flagship annual conference organised by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE)
that aims to facilitate discussions on energy, climate change, and related cross-sectoral issues.
It is held in conjunction with the 25th ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF-25) and the 43rd ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM).
The 5th ASEAN International Conference on Energy and Environment (AICEE) fosters collaboration between the triple helix—academia, policymakers, and business sector—to support the ASEAN energy sector under Malaysia’s chairmanship. It also serves as a platform for the key players to contribute to shaping the next phase of ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC).​
In line with the theme of ASEAN Malaysia Chairmanship in 2025 for energy sector, Powering ASEAN: Bridging Boundaries, Building Prosperities, we are excited to promote innovation and collaboration in the energy sector through the 5th AICEE, fostering a more interconnected and prospering ASEAN.​

As the world grapples with the energy security issues have become even more important for the region. Under the ASEAN Malaysia Chairmanship in 2025, connectivity and sustainability have become two priority agendas, strengthening interconnectivity in energy supply and market in ASEAN.

The 5th ASEAN International Conference on Energy and Environment (5th AICEE) will officially be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in alignment with Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship.
