The AICEE is a flagship annual conference organised by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE)
that aims to facilitate discussions on energy, climate change, and related cross-sectoral issues.
It is held in conjunction with the 25th ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF-25) and the 43rd ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM).
The 5th AICEE theme:​
“Sustainable Energy for ASEAN’s Prosperity: ​
Innovation, Inclusivity and Regional Cooperation”​
The Conference encourages the advancement of innovative research on energy, climate change, and related issues that promotes the future of ASEAN energy that leaves no one behind. In order to achieve this, cooperation between the ASEAN Member States, along with international support, would be crucial to realise inclusive and sustainable ASEAN energy future.

As the world grapples with the energy security issues have become even more important for the region. Under the ASEAN Malaysia Chairmanship in 2025, connectivity and sustainability have become two priority agendas, strengthening interconnectivity in energy supply and market in ASEAN.

The 5th ASEAN International Conference on Energy and Environment (5th AICEE) will officially be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in alignment with Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship.
