ACCEPT II Co-Organised Its First Workshop on Carbon Pricing in ASEAN

The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), through the ASEAN Climate Change and Energy Project (ACCEPT) Phase II, has co-organised the “Workshop on Carbon Pricing Implementation in ASEAN” with the Technical Assistance Facility to the Green Team Europe Initiative (TAF-GTEI) with the support from the European Union as well as the Norwegian Government, and hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) of Indonesia.

ACCEPT II’s Collaboration on Exploring Hydrogen Opportunity and Viability with the Middle East Institute Singapore and the National University of Singapore

The emerging enthusiasm of hydrogen has been triggering more than 15 countries to release hydrogen-related national strategies. Noted that, hydrogen is viewed as a clean fuel that can decarbonize the hard-to-abate sectors such as heavy transport shipping and industries. However, COVID-19 disruption has created a calamity towards the energy supply and demand. To cope with this situation, the National University of Singapore collaborated with ASEAN Climate Change and Energy Project (ACCEPT II) and International Energy Agency to conduct a webinar with a questionable yet interesting topic: Hydrogen: More Hype Than Opportunity?
