HOUSTONMarch 16, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — KBR (NYSE: KBR) announced today that it has been awarded the Heating Systems Energy Efficiency Study by the National Environment Agency (NEA) of Singapore. KBR will provide consultancy services to study the energy performance of heating systems in energy intensive industrial facilities in Singapore.

The Justice ministry has announced solar panels will be installed at all 143 prisons throughout the country. Above all in a bid to reduce their electricity costs. The Corrections Department was found to have not paid the power bills in full in 2019, Justice Minister Somsak Thepsuthin said on Sunday. According to Mr Somsak, the department in fiscal 2019 was allocated 217 million baht for power costs. However the actual consumption cost 372 million baht. Leaving an overdue amount of 178 million baht.

Recently, Thai Oil Public Company Limited held a foundation stone laying ceremony for its Clean Fuel Project’s main production control building. The ceremony at Thaioil refinery in Sri Racha District, Chon Buri Province, was presided over by Energy Minister Sontirat Sontijirawong. Also in attendance were Prof. Dr. Thosaporn Sirisumphand, Chairman of the Board, Mr. Wirat Uanarumit, Chief Executive Officer, Thaioil’s executives, and distinguished guests.

Having sufficient petroleum supply is vital, making it a critical concern amid this crisis. The entire energy family is working 24/7 to make sure that energy services remain unimpeded,” Cusi said.

Acting Chief Minister of Mandalay Region U Zarni Aung and Deputy Minister for Electricity and Energy Dr Tun Naing inspected the test run of a mini oil refinery of MCCM Co, Ltd near Kyawzi village, Taungtha Township in Mandalay Region yesterday morning. First, the factory in-charge reported on the structure of the refinery and test run programmes and deputy factory manager Daw Phyu Phyu Aung of Myanma Petrochemical Enterprise (MPE) on the operations of the mini refinery and the technical assistance provided by the Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) for the mini refinery of MCCM Co, Ltd. Managing Director of MOGE U Aung Myint also gave a report.
