The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) has received an additional $7.7m grant for the development of the ASEAN Power Grid.

In a statement, the World Bank said it approved the grant from the International Development Association. It is part of the bank’s $2.5b Accelerating Sustainable Energy Transition Program to an initial $5m grant for ACE approved in September 2024.

This forward-thinking project represents a collaborative effort between Syarikat Pekerjaan Piasau Konkerit Sdn Bhd, TotalEnergies Renewables, and the Brunei Investment Agency.
