(“Cheniere” or the “Company”) (NYSE American: LNG) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Corpus Christi Liquefaction, LLC (“CCL”) has entered into a long-term liquefied natural gas (“LNG”) sale and purchase agreement (“SPA”) with PTT Global LNG Company Limited (“PTTGL”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PTT Public Company Limited (“PTT”), Thailand’s largest state-owned, multinational energy company.

A targeted fuel subsidy will worsen inflation, says Najib

PETALING JAYA: The government’s proposal to shift from a blanket fuel subsidy mechanism to a targeted one will lead to higher inflation, claims former prime minister Najib Razak.

In a Facebook post, he said that the government should not introduce major economic policy changes at a time when inflation forecasts are still high, stating that such a move would “shock the system” and create a “chaotic” domestic market.
