AEDS has gone through a several stage of enhancement throughout the years, from only providing data and statistic in the beginning to incorporate more content and visual improvement. The enhanced AEDS was firstly launched in the 36th ASEAN Minister on Energy Meeting (AMEM) in Singapore, 2018.

ASEAN Energy Database System (AEDS)
AEDS is a product by ASEAN Centre for Energy which aims to become a pool of various reliable energy data and information for ASEAN.It contains official ASEAN statistic data and related energy news and policies to understand the energy landscape of ASEAN and each of its Member States.
How energy data (statistic) for AEDS is collected?
The statistic data was collected from the regular official submission from each ASEAN Member States through ACE energy data template. The data is provided by Energy Statistic Focal point of each respective countries. ACE pools all national data and processes it into aggregate ASEAN regional data.
