Vientiane, Jun 9 (Prensa Latina) More than 815 million dollars have been invested so far by Vietnam in hydropower and mining projects in Laos’s southern Attapeu province, according to local authorities.
Vithaya Phommachanh, director of the Energy and Mines Department in Attapeu, said that 691 million dollars are earmarked for the energy development and they are distributed in four hydropower plants, whose construction are expected to be completed in 2025.
