Students from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia have been learning about the Kingdom’s potential mining sector as the country is stepping up efforts to extract its first drop oil at the end of this year. The Ministry of Mines and Energy said that the workshop called Petroleum Geological Potential Assessment was held by students from the faculty of mines and geology of the Institute of Technology of Cambodia on Tuesday, presided over by Secretary of State of the Ministry of Mines and Energy Meng Saktheara, with the participation from the General Department of Petroleum officials, professors and students of the Institute of Technology of Cambodia.
