The Indonesian government supports the plan of Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) to drill new wells in the Lahendong Geothermal Working Area (WKP). The plan is to drill new wells to supply planned Units 7 and 8 of the Lahendong geothermal power plant complex.
