This second study aims to determine the current levelised costs of electricity (LCOE) of solar photovoltaic, hydropower, wind, biomass, and geothermal. With a total 134 projects evaluated, the study is expected to offer a better understanding of the LCOE for the five renewables technologies, and further identify necessary policies to encourage fair competition between renewables and conventional fossil fuel-based power plants in the ASEAN Member States.
