Key Points

The report of the ASEAN-Japan Energy Efficiency Partnership (AJEEP) Scheme 2 Training of Trainers: Achievements and Impacts was prepared under the guidance of Dr. Nuki Agya Utama, Executive Director of ACE, and Mr. Hoshino Masashi, Director of International Affairs Office Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Department, Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan. This report was developed and prepared by the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) Department.

The report was developed based on the outcomes and recommendations from AJEEP Scheme 2 Training of Trainers from 2016 – 2021, with valuable experiences, technologies and knowledge transfers from Japanese and AMS experts to 10 ASEAN Member States. Deep appreciation is extended to the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Sub-sector Network (EE&C-SSN) Coordinator and Focal Points for the input and feedback in the preparation of this report, as well as their continued support and participation in implementing AJEEP Scheme 2.
