Asia Low Carbon Buildings Transition Programme: 2nd Consultation Workshop on ASEAN Energy Efficiency Database and Investment Platform

On 30 April 2025, the ASEAN Centre for Energy’s Asia Low Carbon Buildings Transition programme—backed by Germany’s IKI/BMWK—convened its 2nd Regional Consultation Workshop in Jakarta to shape a one-stop ASEAN Energy Efficiency Database and Investment Matchmaking Platform. The hybrid event gathered 139 participants (55 % male, 45 % female), advancing plans to connect building owners and project developers with financiers for accelerated energy-efficient retrofits across the region.
