The ASEAN Centre for Energy, in collaboration with the Energy Commission of Malaysia, hosted the ASEAN Energy Efficiency & Conservation Workshop Towards Net-Zero ASEAN Buildings: Advancing Building Energy Certification, Key Energy Efficiency Measures and Features for Zero Energy Building, and Energy Service Companies, on 21 May 2025 in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

ASEAN Energy Efficiency & Conservation Workshop Driving Industrial Transformation: Policy Portfolios for Energy Efficiency and Digitalisation in ASEAN

ACE and the Energy Commission of Malaysia jointly organised the ASEAN Energy Efficiency & Conservation Workshop, titled “Driving Industrial Transformation: Policy Portfolios for Energy Efficiency and Digitalisation in ASEAN” in Putrajaya, Malaysia, 20 May 2025. The workshop aimed to facilitate the sharing of views on effective policy frameworks, successful case studies, and technologies for promoting energy efficiency and digitalisation within the industrial sector. 

APAEC Post-2025 Drafting Workshop as part of the 29th EE&C-SSN Associated Meeting

The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), hosted by the Energy Commission of Malaysia, organised the APAEC Post-2025 Drafting Workshop, as part of the 29th Energy Efficiency and Conservation Sub-Sector Network (EE&C-SSN) and its Associated Meetings. This Workshop was held on Tuesday, 20 May 2025, at the Le Meridien Putrajaya, Malaysia.

The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and the Energy Commission of Malaysia as the Host country, convened the 29th Energy Efficiency and Conservation Sub-Sector Network (EE&C-SSN) Meeting under the ASEAN Energy Cooperation framework. Held on Thursday, 22 May 2025, the meeting marked the conclusion of a series of events conducted from 19 to 22 May 2025 at Le Meridien Hotel in Putrajaya, Malaysia. 

ASEAN Sparks Gears Up: Full Preparations Underway as Startups, Mentors, and Trainers Join Forces to Tackle Clean Energy Challenges

The ASEAN Sparks programme is fully primed to launch its first major phase: the Ignite startup bootcamp. Developed by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE/the Centre) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and supported by the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF), ASEAN Sparks is preparing to accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship in the clean energy sector across Southeast Asia.
