📌 Workshop on ASEAN Coal Transition Technologies (ASCOTRECH): Policy, Technology, and Financial Strategies

Clean Coal Technology (CCT) and Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and/or Storage (CCUS/CCS) have the potential to encourage coal upgrading towards energy transition. However, ASEAN Member States (AMS) still face challenges in optimally implementing these technologies. Strong government support, investment, and clear regulations are required to explore opportunities and attract private sector involvement.

Join us on this ASCOTRECH workshop to exchange best practices, discuss regulatory and financial barriers, and identify actionable solutions to accelerate coal transition technologies! The workshop aims to foster dialogue among policymakers, industry leaders, financial institutions, and technology providers to address these challenges and unlock opportunities for CCT and CCS/CCUS in ASEAN.
