Energy Market Authority (EMA) has recently formed the Energy 2050 Committee (E50C) to examine trends that can result in long-term opportunities and challenges to the Singapore energy sector and to recommend strategies, capabilities, and structures for Singapore to plan for and execute our 2050 energy vision.
The E50C is chaired by Mr Choi Shing Kwok, Director of ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute, and formerly the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources as well as the Ministry of Transport. The committee consists of representatives from both public and private sectors as well as academia.
Dr Nuki Agya Utama is invited as one of the guest speakers on the topic “Trends affecting the development of Electricity Imports in Singapore’s energy future”.
