According to IRENA, women represent only 32% of the total workforce in the renewable energy sector globally and only 22% in the energy sector. Hence, through this webinar, ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) aims to introduce the concept of just energy transition and put special attention on the gender issue. Supported by ASEAN Climate Change and Energy Project (ACCEPT) with its mission to break the silo between energy and climate sectors, this webinar is also designated to break the silo of gender issue by empowering the women of ASEAN to not just take part but take the lead in the energy transition.
