The Cleaner Energy Future Initiative for ASEAN (CEFIA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan, launched the ASEAN-JAPAN Steel Initiative (AJSI). This initiative falls under SteelEcosol, one of CEFIA’s flagship projects, which aims to accelerate energy efficiency and decarbonization within the iron and steel sector across the ASEAN region. This webinar, which will be held on 6th February 2024, serves as a concrete step towards achieving these shared goals.
This event is supported by the ASEAN Centre for Energy. A representative from ACE, Rio Jon Piter Silitonga, Research Analyst of the CEE Department, will speak in the first session about public sector initiatives toward carbon neutrality, discussing enhancing the enabling environment and finance solutions in ASEAN’s iron and steel sector.
