Join us on this ASEAN Power Grid (APG) webinar to address challenges of Multilateral Power Trade (MPT) in ASEAN by exploring topics such as common use of transmission assets, project financing, and the role Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). Publications by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) will also be disseminated to help ASEAN policymakers, regulators, and power utilities tackle hurdles in environmental tagging, cross-border trade, as well as technical and financial issues.
The MPT in ASEAN—a stepwise plan to enable multilateral power trade through sub regional approaches—was developed under the APG Advancement Program by ACE in partnership with Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership (ETP-UNOPS), GIZ’s Clean, Affordable and Secure Energy for Southeast Asia (CASE), and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP).
