The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) attended the 7^th ASEAN Media Forum on Tuesday, 31 October 2023, represented by Rinda Rufaidah, Communications Specialist at ACE and Fadhilla Munir, Corporate Affairs at ACE. Co-organised by the ASEAN Secretariat and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), The full-day meeting took place at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia, and brought together key stakeholders from government bodies, media, and entities.

The event commenced with opening remarks delivered by H.E. Retno Marsudi, Foreign Affairs Minister of The Republic of Indonesia. In her remarks, she emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation within the energy sector, both among ASEAN Member States (AMS) and in partnership with Dialogue Partners (DPs).

The event’s agenda featured informative panel sessions, including discussions on The ASEAN-Myanmar landscape in 2025, as well as Timor-Leste’s path to ASEAN Chairmanship. These sessions provided a platform for informative dialogue and strategic insights, fostering a deeper understanding of the region’s dynamics and future directions.
