2021 Asian Development Bank Institute Annual Conference: Climate Change Mitigation and Green Finance

 The theme of this year’s Annual Conference is “Climate Change Mitigation and Green Finance.” 

The conference will gather leading academics and policymakers to discuss policy issues and financing of climate change mitigation across different sectors: Energy, Transport, Buildings, and Agriculture, Forestry and Land Use.

Day 1 – 1 December 2021, 12.00 – 1.30 PM (GMT+9)

Representing ACE, Ms. Rika Safrina (Energy Modeling and Policy Planning Officer) will participate as a discussant at the session on Energy Sector: Transition toward high renewable energy penetration, to discuss the paper entitled “Secure energy transition in the power sector with high shares of variable renewables”, that is written by Peerapat Vithayascrichareon (Lead Analyst – Renewable Integration and Secure Electricity Unit, IEA).

Day 2 – 2 December 2021, 12.00 – 12.45 PM (GMT+9)

Dr. Nuki Agya Utama, ACE Executive Director, will participate as a panellist at the session on Regional cooperation for climate change mitigation.
