ACCEPT II Team welcoming the potential collaboration in EU-ASEAN Green Initiative Project
An insightful discussion was held between ACCEPT II Team and Giovanni Galanti, the representative of ARISE+ Indonesia on 31 May 2023 in ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) office. ARISE+, one of the flagship initiatives under the EU-Indonesia cooperation framework from 2014 to 2020 has planning to support the implementation of EU Green Initiative on Food and Agriculture sector.

ACCEPT II’s representative attended the 3rd ASEAN Climate Change Partnership Conference (ACCPC) that was held in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The conference is arranged by the ASEAN Working Group on Climate Change as one of the supporting activities for COP 28 in Dubai, UAE.

A research meeting progress between ACE and the ASEAN Master in Sustainability Management organized by Gadjah Mada University (UGM) and University of Agder (UiA)
On Tuesday, 15 May 2023, Prof. Stein Kristiansen of University of Agder initiated a research collaboration to support ACCEPT II Project. He delivered his perspectives on potential study to speed up the process in achieving ASEAN’s net zero emission target. The study will be focusing more on analyzing the externalities consideration of any related activities to accelerate the net zero target. It also needs an insightful perspective from stakeholders from the energy and financial sectors.
