The Fourth In-house Sharing Session – Climate Change Governance: UNFCCC Bodies
As the threat of COVID-19 pandemic still engulfing the world, including Indonesia and other Southeast Asia nations, the ACE continues its Work-from-Home (WFH) policy. In consequence, the fourth monthly in-house sharing session on climate-energy was conducted as an online session through webinar platform. This edition discussed about Climate Change Governance, focusing on UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) bodies, and delivered by Dr Zulfikar Yurnaidi.
The Third In-house Sharing Session – The Basics of Climate Change Part 2
The world has been threatened by the outbreak of COVID-19. Many employers including ACE have implemented Work-From-Home (WFH) policies to protect employees by practising social distancing. Despite the fact that the rapid spread of such new pandemic is gaining more attention than the threats of climate change, the WFH and COVID catastrophe did not stop ACE from learning the science of climate change. Today, ACCEPT conducted the third monthly in-house lecture on the Basic of Climate Change (Part II). The lecture was delivered by Dr Chan Hoyyen via online Webinar, and a total of 27 colleagues had connected remotely to join the lecture.

Tapping Climate Finance through Global Climate Fund
Paris Agreement Article 9 talks about financial support for climate change mitigation and adaptation activities. Green Climate Fund (GCF) is a part of Financial Mechanism of UNFCCC. It funds projects with potential impacts of carbon emission reductions (mitigation) or improved resilience (adaptation).
Closing the Gaps of ASEAN Energy Blueprint Target
On 30-31 January 2020, the 3rd working meeting on the regional goal of the 6th ASEAN Energy Outlook (AEO6) was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Six ASEAN Member States (AMS) attended the meeting: Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand. Also joining were representatives from specialised energy bodies (SEB) and sub sector network (SSN): Heads of Power Utilities/Authorities (HAPUA), ASEAN Forum on Coal (AFOC), Energy Efficiency & Conservation (EE&C-SSN), as well as Renewable Energy Sub-Sector Network (RE-SSN).
