The 41st ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM) was hosted by Indonesia on 24 August 2023, in Bali. The high-level meeting was attended by all 10 ASEAN Member States (AMS), as well as Timor Leste.

The 40th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting commenced on 15 September 2022 and hosted by Cambodia through video conferencing. The Joint Opening Ceremony was officiated by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Chair of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summit.
