Marcos to Brunei energy sector: PH eyes waste-to-energy projects

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has conveyed to major players in Brunei Darussalam’s energy sector the Philippines’ interest in waste-to-energy projects as the government looks to develop other sources of energy and minimize the use of fossil fuels.

The nuclear reactor company from the United States (US), namely ThorCon Group, is the company at the forefront of realizing the first Nuclear Power Plant project in Indonesia. The reason is, ThorCon has so far received full support from the Indonesian National Energy Council (DEN).
