New power plant in Thaketa to go live after test runs
One of Myanmar’s five emergency power plants started its trial operation this month, the Ministry of Electricity and Energy said, more than a month after the deadline set out by the government’s tender document. The 400 megawatt power plant in Thaketa township had a test run on May 10, according to the ministry.
