Singapore Backs Carbon Capture To Cut Power Sector Emissions

Singapore is ramping up efforts to cut emissions from its power sector by funding new research into carbon capture and storage (CCS). The Energy Market Authority (EMA) has chosen five proposals from three local power companies — Keppel, PacificLight Power, and YTL PowerSeraya — to receive co-funding for feasibility studies focused on CCS technologies.
