Strong geothermal potential discovered in northern Singapore

A collaborative research initiative in northern Singapore has made groundbreaking discoveries regarding geothermal energy potential, evidenced by two boreholes drilled in the Sembawang area. The findings revealed subsurface temperatures soaring to 122°C at a depth of 1.76 kilometers, a significant leap from the previously recorded 70°C in Admiralty at a depth of 1.12 kilometers.
