Shell to invest $66m to build LNG import terminal in the Philippines
The proposed project will include a 3.8Mtpa FSRU, subsea and onshore gas pipelines, and pigging stations. Shell Energy Philippines is reportedly planning to invest PHP3.5bn ($66m) to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal in Batangas City, the Philippines.
