EDC to allocate geothermal power to government green energy program

The Energy Development Corporation (EDC) via wholly owned Green Core Geothermal Inc. (GCGI) has been approved by the Philippine Department of Energy (DOE) as one of the renewable energy suppliers under the government’s Green Energy Option Program (GEOP). EDC’s Bacman Geothermal Inc. had also previously receive clearance to participate in the program.

Floating solar farm launch set for October

The state-run Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (Egat) is preparing to start commercial operation of what it claims is the world’s largest hybrid power generation facility for a floating solar farm at Sirindhorn Dam in Ubon Ratchathani province in October.
