The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) has come a long way in supporting the ASEAN Member States (AMS) in advancing the energy sector. ASEAN has seen a tremendous growth and proven itself to be a significant player in the world’s economy. Established in 1998, the ACE Governing Council (ACE-GC) is an official ASEAN sectoral body, responsible for providing the policy direction and supervision of the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE). The Council comprises the Senior Officials on Energy (SOE) leaders of each ASEAN Member States and ASEAN Secretariat.
