Key Points

• ACE is proud to share that it has contributed to the development of a report analysing the gaps between current emission levels and Nationally Determined Contribution targets within the ASEAN region.
• The report, developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), facilitated by ACE and funded by General Electric, highlights key challenges to compliance with those targets and recommends cost-effective policy and technology solutions aimed at overcoming those challenges.
• The key findings were presented by MIT during The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s 24th Conference of the Parties (COP24) in Katowice, Poland, early December 2018.
