WWF in a statement said Earth Hour is held once per year for individuals to show appreciation to the environment.
“After the hour, all individuals are urged to continue to take positive action for the Earth and openly discuss best practices they can adopt on a daily basis to contribute to sustainable biodiversity, energy, food and water for all,” said WWF country director Seng Teak. “Our positive action today and onward to protect the Earth creates a good legacy for future generations.”
