ASEAN-RESP: ASEAN Renewable Energy Policies

The ASEAN Member States (AMS), through the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) 2016 – 2025 has set an aspirational target to increase the component of renewable energy (RE) to 23% by 2025 in ASEAN total primary energy mix.

The publication was developed by the Renewable Energy Support Programme for ASEAN (RESP), a jointly implemented programme by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and Deutsche Gesellschaft fur International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) from 2013 – 2016.
