Summary
ASEAN CCS/CCUS Insights is a semi-annual publication produced by the Fossil Fuel, Hydrocarbon, and Minerals (FOM) Department of the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE). The digest tracks key policy, regulatory, technological, and commercial developments related to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) across ASEAN to provide timely insights into the region’s evolving carbon management landscape.
The publication aims to monitor, document, and recognise progress in the development of CCU/S policies, regulations, and projects throughout ASEAN. Given that CCU/S technologies remain at an early stage of deployment in the region, the booklet serves as a valuable resource for tracking emerging trends and milestones. It is intended for a broad audience, including policymakers, industry stakeholders, researchers, and members of the public interested in understanding the latest developments in CCU/S.
