The Sustainable and Renewable Energy (SRE) Department is one of the research departments at ACE. It is responsible for managing the various programmes, research and study projects on the regional cooperation of the renewable energy to decarbonise the power, transport, and industrial sectors in ASEAN region. The SRE is responsible in facilitating the ASEAN member states in achieving the regional renewable energy share target defined in the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) through regional cooperation. In particular, SRE supports the implementation of various Outcome-Based Strategies (OBS) and Action Plans (AP) under the APAEC Programme Area (PA) 5 Renewable Energy.
The Research Analyst shall assist the Manager and Senior Research Analyst in handling the studies, research and activities, dialogue arrangement, partner engagement, and related works of the SRE Department in light of the priorities of the ASEAN Ministers of Energy Meeting (AMEM) / Senior Officials Meeting on Energy (SOME); and the related PA of APAEC 2026-2030, in particular: PA 5 Renewable Energy (RE).
