Internship Programme on Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC)

Deadline : 1 April 2026
Vacancy

Overview

Background

The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) offers internship opportunities for outstanding students to gain professional experience at the ASEAN regional level. As a regional think tank, catalyst, and knowledge hub, ACE supports ASEAN Member States (AMS) in implementing the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC).

The APAEC 2026–2030 serves as ASEAN’s strategic framework for regional energy cooperation, promoting a secure, resilient, and sustainable energy system while accelerating decarbonisation and a just energy transition. One of its key pillars is Programme Area 4: Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC), which focuses on improving energy productivity and achieving ASEAN’s energy intensity reduction targets by 2030.

To support these efforts, the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Department at ACE is offering up to two internship positions to assist with research and cooperation activities related to energy efficiency and conservation. The opportunity is open to applicants from all ASEAN Member States, and female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
